My name is Laureen Wishom, Positioning and Business Growth Expert and the CEO/Founder of my first dream company – Masterpiece Solutions, LLC. I started Masterpiece Solutions LLC, a full-circle positioning and business growth company twelve years ago when I left corporate America. I specialize in providing masterful solutions that produce powerful results for high-achieving women entrepreneurs, executives and non-profit leaders who desire to:

My second dream has always been to start an association for high-achieving women.  That dream came true in 2010 when I introduced the Global Association of High-Achieving Women. It is a membership association designed exclusively for women entrepreneurs, executives and non-profit leaders who want to:

• move from success to significance
• create a legacy
• leap to the next level

This association is designed to gift the members with the tools and techniques to gain a competitive edge in the marketplace and assist the members in moving up, moving out or changing directions with ease, purpose and clarity.

What sets us apart from other associations is: our members are high-achieving entrepreneurs, executives and non-profit leaders. All of our members, if selected, have the opportunity to successfully complete our Positioning and Business Growth Certification Program™ or the Board Prep Program™. All members can apply for the She Award™ and attend the celebrated annual She Award™ Gala. Through our Giving Back Program, members are given the opportunity to financially support new women business owners in third world countries. We recognize and understand that each business or non-profit and their leaders are unique.  We know that traditional “one style fits all” programs do not in fact fit all. We work with our members to provide them with a customized solution and our training programs are designed to enable our members to bring about changes at the individual, team and enterprise levels.

Another dream moment was when I was asked to be one of the co-authors of the book: How the Fierce Handle Fear: Secrets to Succeeding in Challenging Times. My chapter is entitled: What is your Sum? The Measure of Success.  This was a dream moment because noted authors such as Donald Trump and Jack Canfield contributed chapters in the anthology.

I am currently working on a chapter for Stephen Covey’s new anthology Success Simplified.  My chapter is entitled: From Visioning Great to Successing Great.

In addition to sitting at the helm of Masterpiece Solutions LLC and the Global Association of High-Achieving Women, I serve as a hospice and stroke care volunteer. Also, for the past five years, I have donated $10,000 each of those years in consulting services to new woman-owned businesses or new non-profits founded by women. I believe that community service is one of those necessary requirements to becoming a high-achieving woman and a person of significance.

If anyone would have told me two years ago that I would be handing out food at a food pantry, I would have said: ‘no way’.  But two years later I am still volunteering 15 hours a week at West-Side Social Services.  This has truly been my greatest joy. I have received far more than words can express.  What I do at the food pantry truly makes my heart sing and it has moved me from success to significance.

This year, I started donating 10 hours a month to mentoring at-risk women by helping them regain their self-esteem and self-worth.

My ‘live by’ motto is: “Operate in an ‘Always Be’ Mode – Always Be Learning, Always Be Improving, Always Be Growing and Always Be Giving.”

My mantra is: “Maintain a positive attitude, learn to overcome obstacles, and get rid of whatever makes you stop.”

My business card is round because I challenge myself everyday to go full-circle in everything that I do.

One of the greatest compliments that anyone can give me is to tell me that I am different.  When people are different, they make a difference.  It is truly my mission and purpose to make a difference everyday and empower women to play a bigger game.

My favorite word is:  HOPE – Help Other People Everyday.
